How to make TCP/IP changes on Laptop when traveling Go to ‘Start’ click on ‘Control Panel’; click on ‘Network Connections’ (see window below) Right click on ‘Local Area Connection’; choose ‘Properties’; scroll down the list until you see ‘Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)’; click on it to highlight it; click on ‘Properties’ button. If your settings resemble the ones in the window below, please copy the settings because they will be needed when you return to campus. If your settings are the same as the window below, then no changes are required. NOTE: Also, If you have to make changes, your window should look the same as the one below when finished. Click ‘OK’ button; click ‘OK’ button again. Close any windows that you have opened associated with making the changes to TCP/IP. |
