PeopleSoft Financials Version 8.9 Upgrade Information
UWG will be upgrading to PeopleSoft Financials Version 8.9 on April 7, 2008. This website has been designed to provide you with the latest information concerning the upgrade. Please refer to this website for important training dates and locations as well as important information that Faculty and Staff may need to know. The project's objective and goals are:
Benefits of Upgrade:
Impact on UWG Faculty & Staff - University faculty and staff will be receiving increased functionality with the new version of PeopleSoft. This new functionality will include an Expense module which will allow employees to enter their own expense reimbursements online. This will include travel expense reimbursements as well as miscellaneous reimbursements to employees. Faculty and Staff will also received new functionality in a new module called eProcurement. This will allow departments to electronically enter and submit purchase requisitions. An electronic workflow and approval method will also be included in both of these new modules. Action Items - This section includes items that need to be done to ensure you are ready to utilize the new functionality if your job duties require interaction with the software. As action items are identified, they will be sent out via email and posted to this link. We will be sending out communications over the next several months that will contain important information and action items that will need immediate attention.
