- Divisions/colleges made decision about where to budget each division’s
allocation.

- Money can’t be budget amended from one fund code to another.
- Some departments have money in more than one fund code. Each “pot” of money will have to be
reconciled.

- If only one account (500000, 600000, 700000) was set up in a particular
fund code in the original budget, new accounts can still be established
during the year.
- Expenses can be transferred from one fund code to another but should be
limited.
- Purchase orders for non-capital items can have more than one
fund/department number.
- Purchase orders for assets can only have one fund code.
