money after the start of classes
been a hardship for you when
buying books?
Looking for ways to stretch those aid
dollars while used books are still available?
Bookstore to the Rescue
The University of West Georgia Bookstore, in
coperaton with the Office of Financial Aid and the
Bursar's Office, is excited to announce the ability
for you to "charge" against your eligible refund,
but with a limit not to exceel $500. Beginning on
December 17 you'll be able to shop for your books
- prior to the start of classes! Shop early to avoid
lines and stretch your aid dollars by purchasing
used books at the University Bookstore.
Please follow the instructions you received in the
Bookstore to the Rescue! email.

Once you've agreed to participate (please allow one day for processing),
you'll be able to use your Financial Aid funds at the bookstore.
All you need to do is present your student ID and
let the cashier know you want to participate in the
Bookstore to the Rescue program. Then you will be
able to charge up to your limit on books and
supplies for your classes!
There are only two times when you may take
advantage of this incredible opportunity. The first
is Decemeber 17 and 18, and the final opportunity
is January 2 through 15. You can choose either
or both of these sets of dates; however, after
January 15 your Bookstore o the Rescue account
will be deactivated and any remaining financial aid
funds will be placed onto your higher One Debit
card with thee funds available to you no later
than January 23rd.
