ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Implemented Cougar Mountain 7.0 Point of Sale System for the University Post Office.
  • Implemented Collegenet R25 event planning system for Auxiliary Services, Public Safety and trained users.
  • Identified and evaluated business processes to determine the most effective means of performing work in the Business and Finance Division of the University of West Georgia. Presented findings and recommendations to higher level management.

Computer Services Specialist III:  University of West GA
Carrollton, Georgia: 2006 – present

  • Implement, maintain, and upgrade mission critical systems for the campus such as security management solution and printing solution.
  • Web Server administration (Win2003, IIS 6.0) - design, develop web pages for division, and maintain the web server.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems often of a complex nature, related to hardware and software.
  • Consult with users to determine hardware, software or functional specifications.
  • Evaluate new technologies, perform testing as required, and document IT procedures.
  • Server Support (Win 2000 & 2003) – setup End-user login accounts and setup Exchange Server email/outlook accounts, ensure network connectivity, and apply service packs and patches to the operating system.

Carrollton, Georgia: 2000 – 2006

  • Install, troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, and upgrade hardware and software equipment for desktops (PC/Laptop).
  • Proficient with Win NT 4.0, Win 95/98, Win 2000, WinXP operating systems.
  • Basic LAN support.
  • Configure and support HP jet directs, HP printers, and Dell systems with Win 2000 and WinXP operating systems.
